A Marriage in the King's Forest by Bethan Huws, was screened deep within King's Wood on 26 and 27 September, 2009.
In this film event the formal and informal rituals of a contemporary wedding reception are transposed from Margate's crumbling, subterranean Winter Gardens into the forest space. The work itself becoming a special event, bringing people together, and mirroring the social function of the wedding reception.
