TippingPoint’s role is to be a catalyst and to find new ways of increasing the level of engagement of artists in the complex issue of climate change. Through intense two-day gatherings taking place globally TippingPoint aims to precipitate dialogue between artists, scientists and others close to the heart of the issues, with the objective of starting initiatives of all types that can play their part in bringing about the cultural, societal and behavioural shifts needed in a world subject to a rapidly changing climate. TippingPoint has also developed the TippingPoint Commissions to develop a critical mass of performance-based work conceived in the context of climate change.
