Transglobal Duets is a collaboration between Anne-Marie Culhane and performer Miriam Keye. It explored simultaneous monthly movement duets in different parts of the world over one year. Over 30 minutes, an improvisation developed in response to each environment as well as awareness of each other being (t)here. Each month they chose a different location that had similarities in atmosphere or form. Transglobal Duets was documented through photographs and text and a looped slideshow was exhibited at Dis-locate, Ginza Art Lab, Tokyo, an exhibition and symposium on art, technology and locality; and Dance City, Newcastle.
