Environmental Performance_Liverpool works with the concept of 'take and give'. It consists in targeting a location where there is a big amounts of waste, and then, as an attempt to change that landscape, take it and replace it with anything that is organic. It is an act of redemption. It is done slowly, as a kind of procession, propitious for meditating about the tension between landscape and desire that affects our culture, society and politics in a global dimension.
For the performance during the Liverpool European Capital of Culture, 2008, the litter was replaced by slices of lemons.
