 Synopsis
  
Clare Pollard's first play is an account of a family’s disintegration set against a background of social anarchy. While cocktail-swigging Gail concerns herself with shopping and her husband buries his head in the sand, their teenaged daughter, Ellie, predicts the end of the world.

Bombs explode in shopping malls, poltergeists send toasters flying through the air, and there is violently unpredictable weather.

The Weather was part of the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs New Playwrights Festival.
