 galligu : Re-inventing community for the 21st Century

galligu is the slang name given to the mountains of chemicals dumped in this area in the past. People in our community are dying of cancer and related illnesses because of neglect by chemical companies and local government.

We have taken the name and want to use it to help people claim their towns back.

Editors' note: galligu closed in 2007.
