Nathan Evans invites artists to save the planet in just fourteen minutes.
The show serves up serious subjects such as ecology, spirituality and politics with humour and radical glamour. It features performances by Nathan, Avant Guardian Angel David Hoyle, the reigning Alternative Miss World Fancy Chance and Eco Worrier Extraordinaire Timberlina, along with cinematic entr-actes starring Theatrical Radical Bette Bourne and Video Anti-Hero Kate Pelling.
Nathan write, 'I came up with the idea for this project when I discovered the TED Talks, which challenge the world's 'inspired thinkers' to give the 'talk of their lives' in eighteen minutes. I was seeking a way to give artists a guiding time frame and concept to produce a performance'.
The show played at the Oval House, Toynbee Studios, the Arts Council's Decibel Showcase and Manchester's Contact Theatre.
