2005
Caesar and Nicoise Saladini are two waiters in a restaurant, which serves vitamin tablets instead of food. They are not very good at working together and play tricks on each other. After the customers have gone there is nothing to eat so they decide to go and open their own restaurant.
Unfortunately Caesar and Nicoise don't have any idea how to cook or which foods to serve. They turn to their favourite foods – crisps and sweets. After suffering hyperactivity, lethargy and nausea, they fall asleep. They dream that they are visited by a giant cucumber and carrot who show them what will happen if they carry on eating only crisps and sweets – rotten teeth, constipation and heart disease. They are also introduced to the idea of exercise and they realise just how unfit their bodies are.
When they wake up, Caesar and Nicoise decide to 'brave' the vegetables and discover that not only do they taste nice, but they start to feel more energised and happy. They find exercise easier and they are able to co-operate with each other.
