The Man from the Council
|
2005 and in repertory
The Man from the Council is about fuels, pollution, the greenhouse effect, energy efficiency and climate change. Pupils are encouraged to believe they are watching a serious presentation from an 'expert' from the council. But as his talk continues, his attempts to be serious are undermined by an anarchic assistant.
At the end of the show, pupils are asked to recall all the information in the show by helping a volunteer remember things that they are shown on a conveyor belt. The Man from the Council is a show for secondary schools, and is accompanied by a Teacher's Pack.

You're Rubbish!
|
2001 and in repertory
You're Rubbish is about how much rubbish we throw away, landfill sites, reusing, recycling, reducing and composting. Children are shown how much rubbish they throw away each year, and how that adds up everyone in the UK throwing away billions of bags of rubbish. Children are encouraged to lead creative discussions about how they could reduce the number of things they throw away. You're Rubbish! is one of our shows for primary schools, Key stages 1 and 2, ages 5 - 11.
