  As a playwright, Louise Warren worked with The Little Angel Theatre, Immediate Theatre, Indefinate Articles, theatre-rites, London Bubble, Scarlet Theatre, Shaker Productions, London New Play Festival, Brighton Festival.
As a poet, Louise was the winner of the 2011 Cinnamon Press first collection prize for A Child’s Last Picture Book Of The Zoo, and her poems appear in many anthologies.

The English Park: A Murder Mystery , by Louise Warren, was a promenade theatre piece which took place in Horniman Gardens, Dulwich in August 1998. It explored the English park through history, taking the audience on a journey which spanned the wilds of Africa to a modern day police investigation.

The play was produced by London Bubble.

Fossil Woman , by Louise Warren, told the story of Many Anning, the 19th Century palaeontologist from Lyme Regis, Dorset.

The producers were Shaker Productions. The show played at the Lyric Hammersmith and toured.

Three Tides Turning took the theme of water and told three interlinking stories: a relationship between a mermaid and a drowning sailor, the invention of the washing machine in 1902, and a patient recovering in hospital.

The play was produced by the London New Play Festival.

The Dream was an Epping Community Play. Louise Warren took Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream and reworked it, taking the themes, myths and history of Epping Forest. The story underlined preservation of our forests and not the destruction of them.
